Steward Team Members share information and direct volunteers, players and officials to appropriate areas based on their roles.

As a Steward Team Member, we may reasonably expect you to:
- Check accreditation/ticketing and redirect access where appropriate
- Communicate information in a friendly, calm and professional manner
- Remain in one area for a while, before rotating to another area
- Not to leave a position unmanned unless absolutely necessary
- Volunteer during evenings and weekends.

When do you volunteer?
- There is a selection of shifts for you to indicate your availability.
- We hope that you will be able to volunteer with us for as many shifts as possible throughout the event so that we can each get the most from the volunteering experience.
- All shift timings are correct at the time of recruitment. However some changes may occur in the build-up and during the event itself. We will share any changes with as much notice as possible and discuss this with you.
- Sunday shifts are only available to volunteers who have volunteered earlier during the Championships.

Mel is so lovely. He took good care of each volunteer which I do appreciate the most. He managed our food vouchers and explained everything thoroughly where I didn't understand or where to go (as when I asked the ladies on the desk, they didnt know much!) Mel took an initiative to give us all volunteers goodies (sweets) when we were on our duties as a thank you. That was a lovely gesture as a team leader. I have been working with Mel for years! Not only that, we were all given an hour break (I do not think 30minutes was enough, personally). Again, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who was involved in Steward team.

The team was so lovely and took good care of me. They made a wonderful team and made sure the players were given new shuttles and very dedicated on the jobs. We had fair amount of break time (30mins) & were pretty flexible too. We had good laughs too!

This is an amazing experience. I would highly recommend volunteering for the Yonex All England's. To be part of what is one of the best tournaments world wide is an honour. Looking forward to YAE20
