Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2019
In March 2019, Badminton England will be welcoming the world to Birmingham for the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships 2019, one of only three HSBC BWF World Tour Superseries events, and we’re searching for passionate volunteers to join our team! The YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships is the world’s oldest and most prestigious badminton tournament, now in its 109th year. We’ve presented the world’s best athletes within our sport since 1899, including many outstanding performances and rivalries. We are now one of just three HSBC BWF World Tour Superseries events (alongside China and Indonesia) – the highest grade possible for an Open tournament - and we take huge pride in showcasing our sport to the highest standards. The atmosphere will be spectacular, as thousands of people join us each day to witness the athleticism, speed and power of badminton, and the world’s best players compete for one of sport’s most coveted titles. Volunteers play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the YONEX All England Open; their friendly faces capture the passion and excitement of the event, and their focus and dedication make it a welcoming and compelling event for all involved. We strive for perfection.
